TBWA WORLDWIDE CREATIVE PRESENTATION
Just before the UEFA Euro 2008 football tournament kicked off, we transformed one of Vienna's most iconic attractions, the Prater ferris wheel, into a colossal image of Czech national goalkeeper Petr Cech. Towering at an impressive height of 53m, this grand installation was visible from far and wide beyond the Prater entertainment park and nearby public viewing areas. With eight arms that rotated continuously with the ferris wheel, Cech was portrayed as a powerful and dynamic figure. The construction of this metal masterpiece began on May 13 and was completed just in time for the tournament's launch on June 5, 2008. Furthermore, this advertising landmark was chosen to host the official adidas press conference leading up to the tournament.
